Bauder Elementary School: Saudi Flag Hangs Higher Than American Flag

The point of this post isn't because this is huge news, but it is a symptom and clear example of the battle we are in. The battle is political, religious and ideological and it is in schools, courthouses, neighborhoods, media, etc.
Bauder Elementary School Principal Brian Carpenter said school officials did not arrange the American flag lowered alongside of the raised flag of Saudia Arabia, and doesn’t know who did. Carpenter said the photo seems to show that the America flag was placed in this position before the school year started. That seems to point to a teacher doing the ugly and unpatriotic deed.
The display is a violation of Public Law 94-344 of the Federal Flag Law which states “No other flag or pennant should be placed above, or, if on same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America,…No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the United States at any place within the United States or any territory or possession thereof:…”
Bauder Principal, Brian Carpenter, told the Gazette the American flag is not normally in that location and someone had moved it next to the Saudi Arabian flag. He went on to say that the American flag has always been in a prominent position above the other international flags at the school.
According to the school, the purpose of the international flags is to recognize the nationality of the many students in the school who come from other countries. Carpenter said the school has many parents from other countries who attend Colorado State University…
After saying Bauder has parents of many differing nationalities, Carpenter said “We realize this is an extremely sensitive time with us getting close to the 10th anniversary of 9/11.”
