Roman Catholics traditionally use “IHS” as an abbreviation for Jesus’ name. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, “St. Ignatius of Loyola adopted the monogram in his seal as general of the Society of Jesus (1541) and thus became the emblem of his institute.” This was covered up at the request of the White House.(CNSNews)
Don't let this story from Breitbart miss the point.
Obama doesn't mention God, for the 4th Thanksgiving in a row. The point is, this isn't an accident.  Our Muslim President understands that whereas this is an American Holiday, it is also an American Christian tradition dating back to the Pilgrims. As the original article clearly catalogs, Obama declares himself a Christian while simultaneously ignoring the God of Christianity and wearing a "wedding band" that declares his Muslim faith. His obvious disdain for people that "cling to their guns and religion" including his policies that attack the freedom of religion(Christianity) although he is quite supportive of Islam. - W.E.

For Fourth Straight Year, Obama's Thanksgiving Message Doesn't Thank God

Yet again, President Obama’s Thanksgiving message eschewed any direct reference to thanking God, making this the fourth straight year in which the President of the United States has ignored the central message of the holiday in favor of political grandstanding.

This year, Obama’s central message was that now that he’s been re-elected, Americans should agree with all of his policies. His unity routine sounds strangely empty after a campaign in which he focused on dividing Americans:

"But most of all, it’s a time to give thanks for each other, and for the incredible bounty we enjoy.
That’s especially important this year.  As a nation, we’ve just emerged from a campaign season that was passionate, noisy, and vital to our democracy.  But it also required us to make choices – and sometimes those choices led us to focus on what sets us apart instead of what ties us together; on what candidate we support instead of what country we belong to ….We’re also grateful that this country has always been home to Americans who see these blessings not simply as gifts to enjoy, but as opportunities to give back.  Americans who believe we have a responsibility to look out for those less fortunate – to pull each other up and move forward together."

How are we supposed to move forward together, you ask? Why, with greater government spending, of course!

As for God, here was the only mention – as a throwaway line in a hackneyed aphorism, used constantly by this president for communitarian sloganeering:

As Americans, we are a bold, generous, big-hearted people.  When our brothers and sisters are in need, we roll up our sleeves and get to work – not for the recognition or the reward, but because it’s the right thing to do.  Because there but for the grace of God go I.  And because here in America, we rise or fall together, as one nation and one people.

No mention of thanking God. None.

But, of course, we’re used to this. In 2011, there was no mention of God at all. In 2010, Obama was closer, but still missed the mark (“we’ll spend some time taking stock of what we’re thankful for: the God-given bounty of America, and the blessings of one another”). In 2009, Obama didn’t thank God, either.

Compare that to Obama’s Thanksgiving Day proclamations, which he does not read or speak. Those are filled with God – at least for the last three years. In his first year, filled with the vim and vigor of his original election, Obama preferred to eschew any direct thanking of God even in his proclamation.

2012: “On Thanksgiving Day, individuals from all walks of life come together to celebrate this most American tradition, grateful for the blessings of family, community, and country. Let us spend this day by lifting up those we love, mindful of the grace bestowed upon us by God and by all who have made our lives richer with their presence.”

2011: “As we gather in our communities and in our homes, around the table or near the hearth, we give thanks to each other and to God for the many kindnesses and comforts that grace our lives.  Let us pause to recount the simple gifts that sustain us, and resolve to pay them forward in the year to come.”

2010: “As Americans gather for the time-honored Thanksgiving Day meal, let us rejoice in the abundance that graces our tables, in the simple gifts that mark our days, in the loved ones who enrich our lives, and in the gifts of a gracious God.”

Of course, nobody sees these proclamations, so Obama doesn’t have to be embarrassed about them.

It’s no wonder that this President’s Democratic National Committee platform tried to remove God. He’s not a big fan of the Big Guy. Even on Thanksgiving. After all, what need do you have for God when you’ve got the state?

Phyllis Schlafly has been standing and fighting for freedom and liberty for the last 40 years. A Harvard Graduate, family advocate and author of over 20 books, Schlafly has rightly mentioned on Book TV many of the consistent policies Obama has pushed during his first four years in office to purposely move us away from our spiritual heritage and would have us worship at the altar of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Obama's public disdain for religion, at least for historic Christianity was displayed in his comments, "they cling to their guns or religion".  There are several solid examples that makes a great case towards his disdain for historic Christianity.  But I think we can take it a step further.  But it is much more shocking when we realize that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim, with a Muslim background and Muslim roots in Kenya.
He is also quite fond of supporting Islam, as in the Arab Spring, the Muslim Brotherhood, etc., and it is my contention that it is because he is a Muslim, wearing a portion of the inscribed "shahadah" on his wedding band which states "There is no god but Allah"

Then there is this that doesn't sound exactly anti religion but rather pro-Islam:

"In an interview with the New York Times, Obama described the Muslim call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
The Times’ Nicholos Kristof wrote Obama recited, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent,” the opening lines of the Muslim call to prayer.
The first few lines of the call to prayer state:
Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet …
In this video, you will see where he has no problem mocking the bible that he quotes completely out of context, in complete juxtaposition to saying how "pretty" the Islamic call to prayer is:
Below are a few of the excepts from the Schlafly video, if you care to check it out.  Hope you watch it through:

"One of his {Obama's} first executive order in January 2009 was to reverse the practice of the Bush Administration and start giving tax payer money to organizations that perform abortions in other countries.

In February of 2009, he announced the elimination of conscience protections that allowed pro-life doctors and nurses in federally funded hospitals to opt out of performing abortions.

In April 2009 Obama delivered a speech at Georgetown University only after his staff had pressured the Catholic College to cover up the monogram for the name of Jesus that was always displayed above the podium"
The next thing we noticed was that when President Obama recites the Declaration of Independence, he changes the wording.  When he quotes the great Declaration he censors out the word "Creator".  We all know that the Declaration proclaims that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. Again and again when Obama recites this line he omits the word "Creator".  Obama has done this so often that it cannot be a slip of the tongue or a glitch of the teleprompter. It is deliberate."

"Obama canceled the traditional White House event honoring the National Day of Prayer saying he would pray "only in private".

"In a November 2010 speech Obama pretended to quote the U.S. National Motto, which is, "In God We Trust", I guess he couldn't bring himself to say "God", so he mistakenly said our  official motto is "E Pluribus Unum".

"When Obama gave the traditional Thanksgiving Day Presidential address in 2011 he again failed to mention God.  It wasn't clear who he was thanking on this uniquely American holiday, but it certainly wasn't God.

"Apparently Obama thinks he can pick and choose which laws he can enforce and which laws he can overturn. In February 2011 Obama instructed his Justice Department NOT to defend the Federal Defense of Marriage Act known as DOMA that was overwhelmingly passed by a bi-partisan Congress but is now under attack in the Federal Courts by the homosexual activists trying to get supremacist Judges to declare it unconstitutional."

"In September 2011 Obama who is determined to defy the Federal Defense of Marriage Act ordered the Pentagon to authorize the performance of same sex marriage ceremonies on military bases, thus violating not only the Federal law but also the traditional first amendment rights that have always been accorded to military Chaplains.
"Barack Obama must think that his title of Commander in Chief enables him to banish religion from the U.S. military. In July 2011 Obama's Department of Veteran's Affairs banned any mention of Jesus Christ during the burials at Houston National Cemetery. Hundreds of demonstrators turned out on Independence Day to protest and to support a lawsuit against that ban.  After that, the ban was lifted."
