Sen.Tom Coburn: Obama Perilously Close To Impeachment; Intended Violation Of Law

I like Senator Coburn.  He is a Senator who I believe wants to serve his country well.  He has shown himself to be a true conservative and a man of integrity.  He is a Southern Baptist and a deacon in his church.
His thoughts on Obama and what Obama is doing to our nation are very thoughtful.   Unfortunately, that is where I disagree with the Senator.
Being thoughtful of Obama for the first couple of  years of his Presidency is one thing.  Being thoughtful 6 months into his SECOND term, while Obama runs rip shod over our constitution is ludicrous.  Coburn says, "I think there is some intended violation of law in this administration, but I also think there is a ton of incompetence".   Surely there is incompetence as the Senator says.  But if he thinks  "there is some intended violations of law", it can't stand.  There is no room for ANY violations of law by the President of the United States and any tolerance of this is absurd and possibly complicit.  Since when is any Public Servant above the law?
Now, I get it, charges of impeachment have to be brought by the House and not the Senate, but that isn't the point.  The point is that any sitting Senator who is aware of violations of law by a sitting President has the duty to sound the alarm to first his constituents and then to other members in the Senate, but also to his House brethren.  Coburn goes on to say that he doesn't know where the "level is" when it comes to discerning "high crimes and misdemeanors", which are necessary for impeachment.  To me, that is quite a revelation.  Some one needs to send the good Senator the phone number to a good constitutional attorney his way.  Surely he has access to someone.  Surely it can't be that hard to discern.
Speaking of discernment, the Senator has lost his sense of discernment when he calls Barack Obama a "personal friend".  Really?  Personally, being friends with a radical like Obama is a deal breaker for me.  When you sit in the highest office of the land and lie through your teeth to all America, I am no longer your friend.  If you leave 4 American's alone in Benghazi to die, when you could have ordered an intervention, you are no longer my friend.  When you ignore laws on the books like DOMA, or break promise after promise, I would have a hard time still calling this person my friend.  If someone spends as much time on vacation, and spends as much money that doesn't belong to him in doing so at a time when the nation's economy sits in tatters, this person would not be my friend.  Call me picky, but my mother taught me to be careful in choosing my friends because, "bad company corrupts good morals".
I would just ask the Senator, if any of these 12 impeachable offenses might make the Senator sound the alarm a little louder for the sake of his country.

Beyond this, once Obama is arrested and tried for treason, I would think that charge would suffice as a "high crime".
